Named in honour of the 48th state's recent admission into the union, the ship was the second and last of the Pennsylvania class of 'Super-Dreadnought' battleships. During the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941, Arizona was bombed. She exploded and sank, killing 1,177 officers and crewmen, an event that brought the about U.S. involvement in World War II. Vallejo paints are supplied in plastic bottles of 17ml with an eyedropper device which keeps paint from drying and prevents spills. The model color range has been specifically developed for adherence on difficult surfaces such as metal and plastic, but the product is not toxic, not flammable, and does not give off noxious fumes.
