Just announced is a new and expanded (372 pp) and updated Second Edition of this fabulous in-depth book, this time in hardback format. This updates some of the information the early book as well as including a number of figure colours, box sub-types and sets that have subsequently come to light following its publication but it also includes an extra chapter on all the HO/OO scale crew figures created by Airfix over the years for its Fighting Vehicles, Railways, Naval vessels and of course its vast Aircraft ranges. We at Airfix wholly recommend this brilliant book, which is a must-have for any Airfix collector or general fan of the brand and its fantastic history.
