Tamiya 1/700 Scale Scharnhorst Battle Cruiser Model Kit This is an assembly kit of the Scharnhorst, which fought in the Atlantic together with her sister ship Gneisenau and sank many Allied ships, including the British aircraft carrier Glorious, before her own demise in December 1943. Distinctive features such as her sharp “Atlantic bow” and angled funnel tip have been authentically recreated in model form. The powerful armament of 280mm and 150mm guns as well as quadruple 20mm cannons are also highly detailed. The model depicts this ship as she appeared during the famous Channel Dash in February 1942.
